Before the dawn of the civilization we now call the Age of Advanced Free Will, the fabric of human existence was marked by cycles of creation and collapse, bound by the unrelenting grip of causality. Mankind lived as vessels, swayed by waves of longing, fear, and desire—each choice an echo, driven by shadows of an unseen cause. Yet even in those dark tides, there was a yearning—a whisper that there might be a way beyond. What would it mean to stand at the precipice of true autonomy, not as marionettes of fate but as creators, knowing that nothing ever needed to happen unless willed into being?
