Who/What/Why :: Gnostic Rooster

The Rooster's Adventure: It began with a riddle

The journey of the “Gnostic Rooster” began with a childhood riddle—a playful twist that reveals our tendency to overlook the foundations of things, only to find that the simplest truths often spark the most profound realizations.

How and Why Gnostic Rooster Came to Be and Got Its Name

The inspiration for using a rooster to symbolize solving mysteries began with that playful riddle; an easy reminder that the simplest assumptions and questions can often lead to the deepest realizations.

The name Gnostic Rooster was chosen because it embodies the pursuit of deep knowledge and awakening. “Gnostic” refers to the wisdom gained through direct experience, while the rooster symbolizes the courage to welcome new understanding and herald transformation.

Standing on the Shoulders of Giants: Learning and Innovating

Gnosis is the common Greek noun for knowledge.  It is often used to denote esoteric  knowledge which is ideas that are not widely known. And is also used to mean awareness.

In some areas of brain/neural science, gnosis is defined to be “ability of the brain to recognize previously learned information such as objects, persons, or places collected from our senses.; e.g. Visual gnosis”.

BEINGON uses gnosis symbolizes learning from the greatest thinkers of the past to the present, representing the collective wisdom that fuels BEINGON’s pursuit of Advanced Free Will. This highlights the importance of understanding past knowledge while innovating for the future.

The rooster’s journey took him through a path of learning, built on the wisdom of those who came before. Here, he discovered the importance of growing through the knowledge passed down across generations.

This rooster didn’t get here overnight. He spent countless hours—over 100,000—studying, thinking, and exploring nearly every topic you could imagine. He stood on the shoulders of giants—those wise thinkers from long ago who had given their lives to uncovering just one piece of the bigger puzzle. He learned about the ways of the stars, understanding how they guided the ancients, and he discovered the secrets hidden in old tomes, which spoke of the power of free will. But the rooster didn’t just repeat what these giants taught. No, he took that knowledge and transformed it, creating new connections, fresh insights, and ideas fit for a future where wisdom is the greatest treasure.

The rooster’s adventure was like a journey across a map of treasures. Each new book, each wise teacher, was like opening a door to a room filled with wonders. He was never satisfied with just one answer; he needed to peek behind every door and see what new things he could find. Armed with the wisdom of the past, the rooster knew it was time not just to learn, but to inspire others to rise to the challenge of discovery.

He also took on a very important job: guarding that knowledge. The rooster crowed each morning not just to welcome the day, but to remind everyone that these truths mattered—that they must be kept safe, shared wisely, and protected from misuse. This was his promise to the world: to stay curious, careful, and committed to seeking truth.

The Gnostic Rooster thus symbolizes more than mere intellectual curiosity; it is the embodiment of an unquenchable desire to understand, to integrate, and to evolve. Each crow signifies an awakening—a call to rise beyond the constraints of passive acceptance, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and self-discovery. Like a beacon in the dawn, this emblem stands as a reminder that every insight brings with it the responsibility to protect and nurture what is revealed.

In the framework of Advanced Free Will (AFW), the Gnostic Rooster represents a liberated mind that transcends reactive states. This journey is not about reaching a final answer but about embracing a state of perpetual growth and openness. It is an act of willful creation, a deliberate choice to forge one’s reality and perceptions through conscious engagement. AFW, much like the Rooster’s call, is a refusal to settle for the ordinary—a commitment to seek beyond assumptions and rise toward a higher understanding, one that is both expansive and rooted in lived experience.

The Gnostic Rooster’s crow is also a warning—a call to safeguard the integrity of knowledge in an age where distractions and distortions abound. To engage with AFW is to accept the mantle of responsibility, using this freedom not only for personal awakening but for the collective well-being. This journey is one that honors both the wisdom of the past and the limitless potential of the future, striving for a world where knowledge is revered, not as an end, but as a living path to enlightenment.
